If you’re joining us from out of town, check out our recommendation for accommodations, transportation and a selection of our favorite spots around town, in case you have time for sightseeing. Enjoy your stay, and get in touch with any questions.

Getting There

The Leon airport, BJX, is a popular option as there are several non-stop flights from major US cities. Getting to San Miguel de Allende from BJX will take about 1.5 hours by car. Book a private car or shuttle or rent your own car.

Alternatively you can fly to Queretaro Airport, QRO. The drive to San Miguel from Qro is about an hour to an hour fifteen.

Lastly, some visitors choose to fly into Mexico City airport, MEX

The direct drive from Mexico City to San Miguel de Allende is 162 mi (261 km), and should take 3 hrs 20 mins in normal traffic. Toll highway is safe and in very good shape.

Getting Around

The best way to get around San Miguel de Allende is on foot. Just be sure to pack comfortable sneakers and wear a hat; cobbled, narrow streets can be tough on feet and May is the hottest month of the year. You can also access all corners of San Miguel by taxi.
We will provide transportation to the guided ranch visit as part of the conference package.
On farm workshops will happen outside of town, we can help you arrange transportation to get there, if needed.
